It's been an interesting couple of days. This may be difficult to picture, but I was the major backer board cutter for the last two days. There I was in the driveway amidst sawhorses, strait edges, circular saw, jigsaw, and more dust than you can imagine. It was kind of fun, actually. I especially liked using shims as a notepad and one of those wide, flat carpenter pencils. And hanging a tape measure on your jeans is very cool. I did OK, but wouldn't care to make it another career. Myron, of course, just had to screw it all to the walls. He is tearing up the carpet in the bedroom now and then we will lay out the tile floor. He thinks we are still on schedule for a Christmas finish.
Regarding the Trivial Pursuit pies, I can kind of get into the roy g biv placement of colors. At least that one I can remember. Amanda's rules always require a refresher course.
The birthday dinner sounded good, but what is/are aigre doux?
Nice of the Cleveland Indians to prepare the pitchers for this series.
We're going to Fallingwater tomorrow with the Shoups. Take a look at the timeline with the website. I think it is pretty well done. I didn't know F L Wright had such a messed up personal life...
Anyone doing anything special for Halloween?
